Riley is said to be seeking songwriting royalties from the track 'Teeth'
Lady Gaga is reportedly being sued by R&B singer/producer Teddy Riley.Riley co-produced 'Teeth', a track from Gaga's 2009 EP 'The Fame Monster', and is now claiming he was promised 25% of the songwriting royalties, TMZ reports.
Riley, a member of US R&B group Blackstreet ('No Diggity') as a well a songwriter-producer, is said to be seeking $500,000 in owed royalties plus punitive damages from Lady Gaga.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has recently released a preview of 'Mary Jane Holland', a song from her forthcoming album 'ARTPOP' which appears to be a celebration of marijuana.
'ARTPOP' is set for release on November 11 and will include the singles 'Applause' and 'Venus', Gaga's R Kelly collaboration 'Do What U Want', released last week, as well as appearances by rappers TI, Twista and Too $hort on a track called 'Jewels N' Drugs'. Other song titles on the album include 'Sexxx Dreams', 'Donatella', 'Swine' and 'Fashion!'.
