Haim will also appear on US TV show the following week (November 23)

Lady Gaga will host US TV show Saturday Night Live later this month (November).

The singer will make her third appearance on the programme on November 16, according to Rolling Stone, and will also perform as a musical guest in addition to her hosting duties. Pitchfork, meanwhile, are reporting that LA band Haim will perform on the show the following week (November 23).

A recent performance by Gaga on UK talent show The X Factor proved controversial after broadcasting watchdog Ofcom received 200 complaints because of the flesh coloured underwear worn by the popstar and her backing dancers.

Lady Gaga recently just previewed new song 'Mary Jane Holland', taken from her forthcoming album 'ARTPOP'. Lyrics in the song include the line, "I think we'd have a good time if you meet me and Mary Jane in Holland tonight".

Gaga's new single 'Venus' was revealed on October 27 ahead of her live performance on The X Factor. On Saturday (October 26) Gaga made a surprise appearance at G-A-Y in London, where she stripped naked on stage. Gaga also performed another new song from the album, 'Gypsy', live in Berlin on Thursday (October 24). The singer was in the German capital for an exclusive invite-only playback of 'ARTPOP' at the city's Berghain club, famous for its hedonistic parties and strict door policy.

'ARTPOP' is set for release on November 11.
