Lady Gaga 'sued by Teddy Riley over 'The Fame Monster' track'

Riley is said to be seeking songwriting royalties from the track 'Teeth'

Lady Gaga is reportedly being sued by R&B singer/producer Teddy Riley.

Riley co-produced 'Teeth', a track from Gaga's 2009 EP 'The Fame Monster', and is now claiming he was promised 25% of the songwriting royalties, TMZ reports.

Riley, a member of US R&B group Blackstreet ('No Diggity') as a well a songwriter-producer, is said to be seeking $500,000 in owed royalties plus punitive damages from Lady Gaga.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has recently released a preview of 'Mary Jane Holland', a song from her forthcoming album 'ARTPOP' which appears to be a celebration of marijuana.

'ARTPOP' is set for release on November 11 and will include the singles 'Applause' and 'Venus', Gaga's R Kelly collaboration 'Do What U Want', released last week, as well as appearances by rappers TI, Twista and Too $hort on a track called 'Jewels N' Drugs'. Other song titles on the album include 'Sexxx Dreams', 'Donatella', 'Swine' and 'Fashion!'.

Pusha T Releases Alleged Diss Track; Lil Wayne Responds

Another day, another rap beef. Two beefs in the case of Pusha-T.

Yesterday (May 23), Pusha released his new song, "Exodus 23:1," speculated to be laced with shots at Drake and Chicago producer, Young Chop.

"Beef is when you hide behind them other ni**as / But they ain't killers, they ain't pullin' them triggers, fuck ni**as," Pusha raps on the The-Dream- assisted track.

It looks like Lil Wayne took offense to the alleged diss track. Earlier today (May 24), he took to Twitter to respond, tweeting, "Fuk pusha t and anybody that love em." Why is Weezy mad? It may have to do with Pusha's "Exodus" bars that allegedly reference Drake's recording contract with Wayne and Wayne's with Cash Money and Universal Music. "Contract all fucked / Explain up I guess that means you all fucked up / You signed to one ni**a that signed to another ni**a that's signed to three ni**as / Now that's bad luck," Pusha raps.

The fighting words regarding "Exodus 23:1" don't stop there, though. Young Chop, who had a short tiff with Kanye West for re-purposing his beat on Chief Keef's "I Don't LIke" remix, took to Twitter, as well, to address Pusha's alleged shots thrown at him. "You can keep your beats, ni**a / We'd much rather share your bitch, ni**a, bitch ni**a," Pusha raps on "Exodus 23:1."

"Fuck (Pusha T) am on that," Chop tweeted, "Am on that with yo bicth ass @PUSHA_T [ sic]." Chop continued to re-tweet Weezy's tweet.

It looks as if Pusha has re-ignited a past beef with Lil Wayne. Both rappers went back and forth in 2006 through 2007, taking jabs at one another. The beef continued till last year when Pusha squashed any ill will towards the rapper in an interview with Complex. People also speculated Pusha threw shots at Drake on his freestyle, "Don't Fuck With Me," but he later told 107.5 WGCI's DJ MoonDawg that he wasn't "dissin' Drake" and "actually like[s] him."

Track Review: Rye Rye, 'Boom Boom'

M.I.A. protégée Rye Rye has had more than her fair share of setbacks with the release of her debut album, and in the time between her arrival in 2007 and her May debut, "Go! Pop! Bang!," the singer has already tweaked her sound. The chorus to "Boom Boom" is a riff on Vengaboys' catchy "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!" single-a smart move, as Rye Rye's youthful delivery on the hook is paired with her impressive rap skills. While the production is strictly pop, her striking ability to spit rhymes prevents genericness, and the bridge nicely mashes up her two musical poses with a dance breakdown. "Boom Boom" is a fun, appealing track that has the best potential for breaking Rye Rye to new audiences before her full-length finally arrives.

One could probably count the number of successful Icelandic musical imports on one hand, and based on the influence of forward-thinking acts like Björk and Sigur Rós, Iceland is now stereotyped as a glacial nation of insular, twinkling art-rock experimenters. But with its boisterously catchy single "Little Talks," indie-pop sextet Of Monsters and Men aims to set the record straight, clearing off decades of cultural cobwebs with a blast of radiant sonic sunshine. "I don't like walking around this old and empty house," Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir sings in a soulful, ecstatic croon. "So hold my hand/I'll walk with you, my dear." It's a simple lyrical message, but the group's innocent, hook-filled ruckus speaks volumes. Underneath the vocals, Of Monsters and Men conjures epic sea-shanty joy, with brass blasts and gang hand claps punctuating acoustic strums and clattering drums.

Behind the boards, Big K.R.I.T. continues to astound. His self-produced new track, "I Got This" -- which may appear on his long-awaited Def Jam debut, "Live From the Underground" -- starts with the jittery click of a guitar pick against strings, but with the bend of a bass note it morphs into a classic Southern rap symphony, complete with relentless high-hat ticks, rattling snares and the stickiest synth line this side of G-funk. K.R.I.T. sounds as nimble as ever on the mic by showcasing the versatility of his Southern drawl: The MC can let his voice glide before instantly throwing his flow into high gear and piling syllables on top of each other. The overall subject matter of "I Got This" isn't groundbreaking or even insightful, but K.R.I.T.'s skill is so impressive that by the time he's whispering "I got this here" during the bridge, it's hard not to believe him.

Marilyn Manson Reveals 'Born Villain' Album Art, Track List

Marilyn Manson is taking a personal approach to "Born Villain."

The bad-boy rocker's image covers his eighth studio album, due May 1 on Cooking Vinyl and Downtown Records. It's his first release since 2009's "The High End of Low," which marked the end of his career-long run with Interscope.

The musician debuted the thrashy single "No Reflection" last week. The album launch will be accompanied by his first U.S. dates since 2009, including a headlining show at Revolver's Golden Gods Awards in Los Angeles on April 11.

"Some Girls" reissue to include unreleased track (Reuters)

NEW YORK (Reuters) – An upcoming reissue of the classic Rolling Stones album "Some Girls" will include a recently discovered track which will also be released as a single.

"No Spare Parts," which was recorded in Paris and was recently discovered by producer Don Was for inclusion on the new editions of "Some Girls" due out on November 21, tells the story of a trip from Los Angeles to San Antonio.

It features Mick Jagger on electric piano, Keith Richards on acoustic piano, Ron Wood on pedal steel guitar, Charlie Watts on drums and Bill Wyman on bass, Universal Republic Records said Thursday.

The label said the song, first recorded by Chris Kimsey in early 1978, features a "country guitar twang, subtle groove and soulful storytelling," describing it as "a powerful and poignant acoustic tune."

"Some Girls," a 1978 release that featured "Miss You" and "Beast of Burden," went a long way toward reestablishing

the Stones' then-flagging youthful appeal. It reached No. 1 on the U.S. charts and No. 2 in the United Kingdom.

"No Spare Parts" is slated for a world premiere on October 20 on the "Ken Bruce" show on BBC Radio 2, and will be available the same day on U.S. platforms beginning at 10 a.m.
