Tinie Tempah reveals Adele has recorded a 'filthy' rap

November 2, 2013 13:23

However, Adele has threatened to sue if he ever plays it to anyone

Tinie Tempah has revealed that Adele recorded a "filthy" rap while he was working in the studio with Labrinth a couple of years ago.

The singer apparently showed off her flow while Tempah and Labrinth were recording 'Earthquake', their Number Two hit single from 2011.

"She was with me and Labrinth in the studio when he recorded 'Earthquake'," Tempah recalled during an interview on Alan Carr: Chatty Man last night (November 1). "Nobody really knows this. She recorded a rap and she told us that if we ever played it to anyone she would sue us. So when you talk to her next, ask her about the rap. It is really filthy as well."

Tempah also revealed that Adele "helped me pick some of the songs" for new album 'Demonstration', which is released this Monday (November 4). The album, Tempah's follow-up to his 2010 debut 'Disc-Overy', features guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Labrinth, Laura Mvula and Emeli Sandé.

The rapper will support the album with an 11-date UK arena tour this December (2013), culminating in a massive show at London's O2 Arena on December 18.

Tinie Tempah will play:

Aberdeen AECC (December 2)
Manchester Phones 4u Arena (5)
Leeds First Direct Arena (6)
Nottingham Capital FM Arena (8)

Tom Waits Reveals 'Hell Broke Luce' Video After Mysterious Campaign: Watch

by David Greenwald, L.A.  |   August 07, 2012 8:58 EDT

Tom Waits' big surprise is a new video.

The veteran musician has been leading up to the release of the "Hell Broke Luce" video for a week, teasing fans with a trio of images plastered with "Coming August 7" that wound up being video stills.

Press speculation over the images, which arrived via equally cryptic emails, ranged from hopes for a U.S. tour to a Waits concert cruise, prompted by the subject line "Tom Waits: Permission to Come Aboard" and the pirate-themed images.

Waits last toured the U.S. in 2008, a trek documented on live set "Glitter and Doom."

Instead, the video for "Hell Broke Luce" is the latest from Waits' 2011 album "Bad As Me." The stylized, politically driven footage finds Waits towing a house and walking between shark-like submarines in an aquatic war zone, with direction from photographer Matt Mahurin.

Lady Gaga Reveals New Perfume Bottle

by Gregory DelliCarpini Jr.  |   June 14, 2012 1:10 EDT

Lady Gaga was forced to unveil the bottle for her first perfume after images leaked online yesterday (June 13). "Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked," she tweeted. "Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you!"

The singer also tweeted images of the bottle, which is as outrageous and fabulous as she is. Crowned with an edgy and alien-like gold cap, the bottle beneath is simple and unfussy. But the truly bizarre part is inside the bottle, where the scent takes the form of a "black fluid."

She had previously said that her fragrance, which was going to be called "Monster," would smell of "semen and blood." However, the fragrance's box says that it contains notes of "belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops."

"My perfume was designed for women, but a lot of my gay friends wear it," Gaga explained after a fan asked if she would be making a perfume for men. Mother Monster's "Fame" perfume will hit stores later this summer for Little Monsters of every gender. She will also cover the September issue of Vogue to promote the launch of her first scent.
