Court reports reveal rapper's financial difficulties

Former N-Dubz member Fazer has declared bankruptcy, court records reveal.

The rapper – real named Richard Rawson – filed for the status on December 4 using a North London address.

Fazer, pictured left, and fellow bandmates Dappy and Tulisa Contostavlos have been taking a break from the band since releasing their greatest hits album in 2011. Eight of their tracks placed in the UK Singles Chart, including 'Number 1', recorded with Tinchy Stryder, which reached the top spot.

Despite earlier success, all three former N-Dubz members have had a difficult 2013. Tulisa Contostavlos headed to court today (December 19) to deny being concerned with the supply of Class A drugs. She is accused of selling 13.9 grams of cocaine to an undercover reporter as part of a £860 deal.

In November Dappy had to get hospital treatment after falling from a horse and getting kicked in the face. More than 8,000 people have now signed a petition to get the animal given the Brit Award for 'Outstanding Contribution to Music'.

He was also give a six-month suspended sentence over assault and affray charges in February.

Singer Dionne Warwick files for bankruptcy

n">(Reuters) - Grammy Award-winning singer Dionne Warwick has filed for bankruptcy in New Jersey, citing tax liabilities she has attributed to financial mismanagement, her publicist said on Monday.

Warwick, 72, known for "Do You Know the Way to San Jose?" and other popular songs, filed the petition on March 21 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New Jersey, the state where she was born and currently lives. She listed total assets of $25,500 and total liabilities of more than $10.7 million, nearly all tax claims by the Internal Revenue Service and the state of California, according to the filing.

The personal bankruptcy filing was due to "negligent and gross financial mismanagement" in the late 1980s through mid-1990s, Warwick's publicist, Kevin Sasaki, said in a statement.

The IRS and California tax claims total more than $10.2 million, mostly from the 1990s, according to the petition, which listed Warwick's average monthly income as $20,950 and expenses at $20,940.

Sasaki said the actual back taxes owed had already been paid, but the penalties and interest has continued to accrue.

"In light of the magnitude of her tax liabilities, Warwick has repeatedly attempted to offer re-payment plans and proposals to the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board for taxes owed," Sasaki said. "These plans were not accepted, resulting in escalating interest and penalties."

A five-time Grammy winner, Warwick took her first in 1968 for "Do You Know the Way to San Jose?" and her second two years later for the album "I'll Never Fall in Love Again."

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Veteran singer Stevie Wonder has filed for divorce from his second wife, fashion designer Kai Millard Morris, according to court papers filed in Los Angeles on Friday.

Wonder, 62, real name Stevland Morris, cited irreconcilable differences and listed the couple's date of separation as October 2009.

The papers obtained by Reuters showed that the "Superstition" singer was asking for joint custody of the couple's two boys, 10-year-old Kailand and seven-year-old Mandla.

The singer, who has been blind from birth, signed the papers using two fingerprints and agreed to pay spousal and child support. He also requested that all his earnings after the separation were kept separate from the couple's assets.

Wonder and Millard Morris were married in September 2001. The singer was previously married to Motown singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972, and has had several relationships since, from which he has seven children.

Wonder rose to fame as a child musical prodigy in the 1960s and has since won 22 Grammy awards and a Grammy lifetime achievement award for his work.
